Angry boss, indignant customers, loss of reputation, loss of job
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)

But if you are bald then you will not be hot headed and angry.

Apart from loss of accuracy when a cut is running out the cutting edges are not cutting evenly. For instance if your feed is 0.01mm per tooth and the runout is 0.1mm obviously only one side of the cutter is making contact with the work and if the cutter has four flutes this side is taking a cut which is 0.04mm so the cutter may break.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.

Geof, agreed .. I hate front hair falling, it seems an Airport runway on the head..

Collet runout may be the main culprut of my new endmill breakage.. I will post some more results tomorrow.. I will pocket out some Circle and will see the impact of collet runout on the pocket dimensions...

I have backlash enabled in Mach3, i will also check if the pockets are circular or not..
    Thanks for answering
