Talking Great tip at next to no cost

I don't know if others have posted it and i have missed it but i picked up a great idea watching a VMC video so thought i would post it.

The guy in the video was use a garden hose sprinkler connected to the coolant supply to was the machine down.

Before i was using an air supply at low pressure but as you know the chips go everywhere.

I connected an air gun to my coolant via a Y adapter and it works absolutely great. I can clean my fixtures of chips with virtually no splashing/horrible mess.

MY shop needs to be temperature controlled to 1 deg C. When the heat exchanger can't cope in summer I open up the outside raiator thing and stick a rotary garden sprinkler inside. Improves it no end

(Obviously check there's no bare wires etc)
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
