Upgraded Chinese Lasers for sale with USA Electronics

We're starting to import some Chinese 50W laser systems.

They're actually very good quality laser optics and mechanical components. Since we can speak Chinese too, we were able to work with their engineers to redesign a quality laser system up to spec for us.

    The common complaints are:
    1) no support
    2) crappy Chinese software
    3) supports only raster mode not vector mode
    3) low power

We've worked with the manufacturer and are offering:
    1) PWM controlled 50W laser (bigger tube and bigger laser power supply, software controllable power output). This is huge because you can make more than 1 power setting per run which allows for 3d profiles or engraving + cutting in one step.
    2) USA web and email support (telephone support extra cost due to labor). Since we built all the electronics, if something goes wrong, we can fix it. If you have software issues, you can ask us or the Mach3 support group.
    3) Complete redesigned Mach3 and EMC compatible electronics. Works right out of the box. Connect a parallel port cable, input some settings, plug it in and you are done. No more crappy software or USB dongle. Demo copy of Mach3 is included but license is not included.
    4) Enlarged 12.5" x 9.5" cutting area
    5) Every laser hand tested and burned in by someone in the USA.

Cost is only $1999 + $100 shipping in continential USA. No tax outside of Nevada. Includes 30 day warranty on all components. 1 year warranty for $300 extra.

These lasers are amazing value for the money and only marginally higher in price than what you find on ebay but 10x better.

Anyway, we haven't added them to the website yet and there's still some long term burn in testing to be done but we have 10 units on order.

PM me if you are interested in one and we will put you on the reserve list. No commitment necessary but good to know if people are interested so we can keep enough in stock.

I would be interested to learn more...

Which manufacturer is providing the 'base'?

What brand step/direction driver board are you using?

Are you using the PWM laser plug-in or have you developed your own?

It would be nice to see some photos, when will you have them on the website (http://www.fullspectrumengineering.com/index.html).

Hope you don't mind a comment about your site - the colors suck

    Zax.

Yeah I don't know what's up with the colors. They look fine on my computer using IE7 or IE8 but they are screwed up in Google Chrome.

We're making our own opto isolated step/dir board and PWM output with 16 microsteps and current chopping. No mach3 software is changed. They provide their own support when you buy it.

I'll put some pics up when I get a chance but we're busy developing some parts of it.

The base is major manufacturer but is a trade secret. All those Chinese lasers look the same so I think they buy the boxes from the same place but the internal guts are actually substantially different.
