    Does anyone know what a anode is made from?

    I've done a lot of search and can't find out what the andoe is a sealed or flowing gas co2 laser is. Any one have any ideas?

    It was also my understanding that gas lasers had to have flowing gas because the electrons were stripped from the gas while lasing.

    Its not just a case of having a bulb filled with gas. The actual gas must be thinly dispersed in the tube under a mild vacuum, but at the same time been replaced constantly. Having a gas laser is more than just having a light bulb, it requires lots of support equipment, unlike a light bulb.
