Today I started as a routine work. After doing some jobs I find out that Laser was not engraving at the given power. Power just dropped
I was engraving at speed 20 and power 18 and now to get the same engraving result I have to increase the power to 34.
can anyone tell me what is the problem.
its a new machine just 3 months old.

Be careful cleaning optics though, your lens will probably be Zinc Selenide (a semi clear amber glass like compound), it's comparatively soft and will scratch easily.
Use only clean, lint free tissue and good quality solvents.
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
I don't mean to get off track but, This is similar to cleaning the lens on my scanner and I was using a microfiber cloth that you can get for eye glass cleaning. Any response hey or ney to using this cloth
If it will make a good story, do it anyway
I did cleaned everything but its still the same problem. company suggests may be the alignment is the problem or I have to change the laser tube.
still I am not happy with my laser.
Ouch, downtime sucks

no I am working but I am avoiding jobs which includes cutting of 12mm or 10mm
how long will it take to get a new tube?? Are they going to make good on this one or is it out of pocket.

well.. the distributor here doesn't know much about lasers because it was his first machine and I bought it. the GCC taiwan are very supportive. I know GCC makes the best machines and support it also best but I hate problems.![]()
If problem still exist - tell me model of laser engraver and type of tube - will try to help.
