what is this linkmotion any way.
does it generate step and direction signal for stepper drivers like mach? or just generate G and Mcodes?
or do we need spl card to do motion control.
Hi all,
I´m running my chinese WKLaser with Linkmotion Software (Not the one for MPC6515 but Virtual Controller Software that uses PC for generating stepper signals)
Everything is working fine but every attempt to cut with speed below 2mm/sec fails -the software crashes.
Anyone encountered this problem ?

Have you tried changing the units to inches per sec etc. Never know what might happen!
You can try changing the step and acceleration settings and see what happens also.

Linkmotion is a printer driver for laser engraver/cutters. it sits in the background until you print something from, say, Corel Draw then it opens up and you can get it to do it's thing. You can also run it on it's own to set up your cutting position, feed rates, material settings etc and also run a rotary attachment.
I am not completely useless.......I can always serve as a BAD example.
