    Cutting in channel

    Hey i was just wondering i have a Mazak 1500w Champ,My boss needs me to cut a square shape in a extusion through one side and not the other is this possible and how.

    With the proper focus, the laser would have enough power to cut one side and not enough to cut the other. It depends upon how far apart the two faces are, as well as thickness of the face being cut.
