    small laser power

    Hi,

I have 60W laser tube in my laser engraving machine and few days ago they immediately stop working correct:

I do not sure is it problem in tube or something else.

when i press on machine test button normally I have max laser power ( on instrument, I think, 25 mA) but now I have about 6 mA. Do you think That problem is in laser tube or not. Laser tube has about 300-400 working hours.

I am try reinstall software but same result. Manufacturer of machine said that problem must be in tube, but...

Is the tube "lighting" when you test fire ?
is the water flowing the correct way ?
    Is the water level o.k
How is the h.t connection to the tube?
    Try these first
    Thanks Chris

    HTML Code:
Is the tube "lighting" when you test fire ?
yes but not strong like before, end only on manual control on full power.

    HTML Code:
is the water flowing the correct way ?
    Is the water level o.k
I`m always checking water in tube and waiting if have some air bubbles that gone, from that reason I haven`t back cover that I can everytime check tube.

as I said machine working normally two day before and only one day stop, I try cut some plywood for new box and when I try cutting I have seen that power is too small and then I try with test button and sow that I can took more then 6 mA....

    HTML Code:
How is the h.t connection to the tube?
    what is "h.t"

    HTML Code:
    Check the power supply,
how can I check power supply, you think laser power supply I suppose, because other parts on machine working OK.

You mention you were cutting plywood before the machine lost power... have you checked the optics? A lot of plywood glues can foul the optics...

I cut that plywood many times and problem... problem is in power of laser; normally I set power on 85 - 90 % and speed 15- 20 and working well and on instrument I have about 25 mA and now I have only 6mA !
