    Rotary Fixture

Does anyone have experience with the Universal Laser Rotary Fixture? If so, could you share the type of stepper, wiring and gear ratio with me? I need to fabricate a custom rotary to work with my M-30 to mark small diameter cylinders that are too small to use on their standard rotary fixture.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    OT

    Adapters?

I don't own a ULS rotary but would it be possible to make some sort of adapters that fit over the rotary spindles on the one side and have the other side of the adapter made to accept your small diameter pieces? Know what I mean?

Maybe that isn't possible for your application though. Just a thought.

    Thanks for the response.
SkipW, I'm open to modifying the ULS rotary if I could get one for a reasonable price.
I like the look of GWEIKE's rotary1. Less likelyhood of crashing the optics into a chuck when engraving small diameter parts.
The main help I need is with selecting the proper stepper and wiring it properly to my laser. It's my understanding that the M-30, M-300 etc. come equipped ready to run a rotary. Correct me if I'm wrong, the stepper card is already installed in the laser. So it's just a question of plugging in a stepper and limit switch....
