Questions about Lasser Cut 5.0

I have this lasser cut 5.0 software
When I install in my computer at home
It wont start and says something is missing

Does the computer have to be connected to the engraver in order to start this program?
Or
Does anybody can tell me where can I download this program?
(I think the one I have is messed up)

Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated!!

Mine took a while for it to work properly. I do think you need to have the laser on. Try it a couple of times if not I may have an extra copy somewhere in my desk. Make sure you are not using Vista! You could maybe try it on another computer and see if you get the same error.

the 5th download of that software will be the best,
reinstall it, and reinstall it, these software is a pain in..
but after a while it works. have the mmanuals in chinese? if not you are a lucky guy, if need I can send also, dont forget to connect the soft dog.

Hi there , I have the same software and im on Vista...Tricky indeed but I got mine working by means of serial port connecting if that helps to say.

Hi , I have the Lasercut 4.0 version and with that version you have to have the laser engraver on in order for the Lasercut 4.0 to work. I would think that Lasercut 5.0 would be the same as far as that goes. Speaking of which I have been trying to find the 5.0 version...Know where I can get it?
