Edmund Scientific...
Where can a guy get a set of those golden colored mirrors (or just one mirror) in a hurry without driving hundreds of miles or waiting two weeks for a package from China??
I just drove 300+ miles to get a new tube and while I was putting it in I somehow splashed a drop of solder on one of my mirrors (not the tube mirrors but the one of the mirrors in the machine).
F%$%^&^%$$#$cK!!!
Where can I get a replacement?

I have a ton of used gold plated mirrors I pulled from some medical CO2 laser equipment. What size/thickness is your mirror? I can drop you one in the mail tommorow for free (well, its like $0.50 postage but that is hardly worth haggling over).
(Please don't every other person now email me asking for mirrors...)
Maybe I should have phrased my question differently. Lets try it like this:
"Where can I get a replacement mirror for my cheap Chinese machine WITHOUT having to re-mortgage my house to pay for it?"
Did you see the prices for those mirrors on that one website????? And the other two won't even tell you how much they are, you have to get a quote. Anytime you have to request a quote for something it's usually much more than you want to pay.
I'm not looking for a mirror that's NASA quality and costs about a third of my total machine cost.
What I need is a replacement for this junky cheap Chinese mirror.
I just sent you a 0.675" dia gold mirror in the mail. It is the closest I have to your diameter so maybe you can make do with it until you get an exact replacement. It is probably of far higher quality than the mirror you damaged since it came out of a very expensive Coherent laser system.I think it is protected gold coated so be careful with fingerprints when handling it.
You were supposed to find this:

There's a half-inch 1/20-wavelength protected gold mirror on fused silica for $89. It's certainly not free (a very generous offer by KTP), but the price was decent, and you could have gotten it same day if you really needed it.

Oh. I went to Edmundscientific.com and scoured the entire site. Lot's of neat stuff there but I didn't find any coated mirrors. I didn't realize there was a different Edmund website.
I think KTP's mirror will work after some adjustments, but I've bookmarked your link just in case.
Thanks
Ah, you probably went to ScientificsOnline.com, right? Edmund Scientific used to be one company that sold optics, science toys, educational material, etc. A number of years back they split into the several companies you see listed when you go to edsci.com. Anchor Optics, another one of their shootoffs, has some great optics deals on "engineering sample", discontinued, and custom overstock items... unfortunately, nothing in ZnSe.
