    Post Help setting up HY-HVCO2 (power supply)

    I recently acquired a 40 watt laser and the power supply HY-HVCO2/1.2, all the information I can find on the power supply is in Chinese, I can translate the page but not the pictures that explain the connections and uses. Does anyone have an english version or can help me with the steps to setting this up correctly? I have searched the forum but cannot find the info that I need. This is the page that I found but it was not much help for me...

    Anything would help...Thanks

    How did you get a Chinese version instruction? There must be an English instruction book when a Chinese supplier sell the machines to you.

    The instructions were mistakenly not put in the box with the rest of the equipment. I found the Chinese ones through my own research, getting the instructions from the manufacturer/seller is proving to be a slow process and I'm trying to pursue my other options. If anyone has an English version or a setup for a power supply that is similar, or anything that would help it would be appreciated. I can post more pictures of the power supply if necessary. This is my first laser and I don't want to screw it up so I'm trying to get as much info as possible.

    Ok, here is your answer,
    TH= Laser On (active high)
    Tl= Laser On (active low)
    WP= Water flow sense at Ground = flow on (enable laser)
    G = Groung (logic level)
    IN= laser power setting input 0 to 5v or PWM 20khz
    5v= 5v output from pw supply

    FG= frame ground
    AC= mains voltage input

    Hope this helps

    I have put the file on my website for you.

    Beware of the fact that the laser power you have is made for a 60W laser,
    I think there would be no problem if your not using 100% power output.
    The manual describes also how to adust the power output. I have no experience with that.

    Hope this will help.
