2000 W Laser machine

Hello. We are looking for a 2000W laser machine to cut 1/8” aluminium. Can some body help me with manufacturers and prices?

Depending on your what your parts contours or internal holes / cutouts look like, you may be better off with a punch machine. I am pretty sure that you can punch 1/8 aluminum faster than you could cut it with only a 2000W laser.

To be honest with all the different manufactures I have worked with Trumpf is the best all around machine for punching or combo punch / laser systems. I have no opinion on a stand alone laser systems, however if your set on a laser to cut aluminum I would go with 4000W.

Hi Eduardo,
I agree with Independent's comment about punching being faster than laser especially when working with aluminum at 1/8" thick but some intricate parts may need to be cut with a laser. The Trumpf machines are very impressive but I feel the price may be higher than a Mitsubishi or Amada laser or punch/laser combination machine. I do not know the prices but you may want to check into Mitsubishi and Amada as well as Trumpf machines.
