Help with marking Electroless Nickel Plated stuff

I have been trying to get a piece marked that has been Electroless Nickel Plated. Im using an epilog helix 60w laser and have tried the whole gamut of settings but the cermark just isnt working.. after lasering it just rubs off.

The last settings I tried were Speed 5% and power 100%. The other issue is that at those settings the markings lose definition, in other words the edges start to blur a little bit.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Phil

I just added you on skype, I was actually going to contact your company about getting a quote on a few different machines.
