I have my used Artsign JSM40 Laser Engraver up and running. I has been an adventure and learning experience. I am now able to run Newlydraw software and send simple oblects like a box or star to "Engrave" I can also send text. The cut function works I can burn the lettering or object on white cardboard but if I try to "Scan" or engrave the work it does not work....instead of getting a letter "S" which I was able to "cut" with the laser, I got random, squiggly lines. Anyone have ideas to what I might NOT be doing and what I SHOULD do. Thanks for any help. Ron Jansen (Tacoma,WA)
