Looking for a laser engraver/cutter for jewellery

I have been searching for a laser machine for jewellery that can engrave on gold and silver. I would also like it to cut out gold plates as well. The maximum depth that i will go is about 2 mm. There are too many options and the more i search the more i get confused, i've seen them varying from 20000$ to 200000$. Can anybody help me out by figuring out what the minimum wattage i need and the type of machine.

    Thank you

    Laser engrave/cutter

Basically yes i'm assuming marking. I don't really know the difference between engraving and marking but i would like to engrave in and on rings, flat surfaces and i would like to cut out names on gold plate. Thats why i would like it to cut at least 1 to 1.5 mm.

I think you should buy a good machine ,becasue the jewellery ,gold ,silver and gold plate is expensive. if you want to buy a laser engraver mchine,i think the most important is the precison and accuracy, the second is the laser tube power,i recommend you to buy CO2 water cooling glass sealed laser tube ,i think 80W is OK for you to engrave maximum 2mm expensive objects, the laser power too strong or too weak will influence engraving effect,

Dear ,the CO2 laser tube is OK to engrave soft metals.such as aluminium and jewellery.it's hard to cut metals. if you want to deal with metal.the best choise is to buy a cnc router but not laser engraving/cutting machine

To be honest Arms, a laser is the wrong tool for the job even with sufficient power the quality won't match a diamond drag or rotary

    best wishes
