Who makes a laser diode engraver, that is ready to plug and play? Something for $1000-$2000 and maybe with a choice of frequency/color?
The CO-2 lasers are not bad, but the material I need to engrave serial numbers onto does not work well with the CO-2 wavelength. Since 1 or 2Watt solid state lasers are pretty common, and in various wavelengths, I hope someone is making such a device.
