Nothing I recognize... but you say it's available locally. Is it something you can go see, test, and get a feel for?

Yes, the day after tomorrow I can go and spend some time with it and use it.

locally it is $12K NZD which currently is $10000USD but shipping has been paid for etc.

It does come with the pump/chiller, fume extraction system with ducting/fan etc, a replacement laser, a set of replacement mirrors etc and a number of other things. Oh yes, the third axis as well, a rotary head all complete/working

The working bed of 1200x900 (47.2x35.4") is a nice size.

I could not get this cheaper locally but I am not sure what I could import for that price either.

That machine should cost about $4500 with an 80w RECI tube from most chinese suppliers, with a raft of spares maybe $5500 - add $1500 for import....

Yes, this machine with all the standard parts from most chinese manufacture is about $4,500, if you like better quality, maybe about $5,000. Of course, if you still like higher precision, then can choose german motor, total cost will be about $5,500. Shipping cost to New Zealand will be very cheap and shipping time will be short, maybe about 10 to 15 days. So if you can wait, can buy from Chinese manufacture directly. I think it will be $3000 cheaper at least than buy from local place.
