Power Levels between Lasers of different Sizes?

    Basically:

If someone with a 45W machine running at 100% is cutting at a specific feed rate, and I have a 100W machine, is 45W of my machine equal to that one?

That is, if I had the same focus mirror, etc?

I'm trying to cut acrylic and having a heck of a time getting clean cuts but putting the same material in that other machine, it gets clean cuts. Where as I get either a mess, or not through it. Both are using air, no nitrogen.

On chinese glass tubes there is a lot of instantly changing parameters, affecting tube power in certain moment. So you can't compare this two tubes (45Wt at 100% power and 100Wt at 45% of power) as result each time will be different.
