distance measurement of lens from work bed

    Hello

I am just working on some thin paper cutting and wanted to be absolutely accurate with my focus. I have a piece of acrylic 62mm square which came with the machine. I have been measuring 62 mm from the top of the plate holding the lens holder. This has been fine for most of the work I have done but for thin paper I want the beam as small as possible.

If anyone has any advice or instruction on exactly where the 62mm should be measured from I would be grateful

    Why not simply try it?

Adjust your z-height until you get the best result, mark the distance for future use and thats all there is to it!
