UK Laser plywood supplier?

Hello all ,


Does anyone know of a UK supplier for small quantities of Laser-specific plywood, in lighter grades like 3mm for example?
i dont need any right now but would like to be able to quote a price for it should it be required.

there must be a hobby shop somewhere that sells it without having to buy a whole container load!

in london there is the 4d model shop and blueprint model shop, but I would check with them that the individual type of ply is for the laser, they do a few different types. The 4d shop does laser cutting themselves so they would have more info.
Some of the model ply is the "bad" kind that where the glue reflects the laser and doesnt cut cleanly even at 1.5mm.

i know what you mean about the normal model ply - its like a mini blast furnace to cut it with air-assist. - i suppose they need to put in relatively large amount of resin to make it structural enough for r/c modelling and stop it warping from moisture.


i notice you can buy really cheap 'kits' from the pound-shops which are laser cut or sometimes die-cut but made from beautiful light plywood . shame i cant buy the raw material this cheap!
