Anyone mill templates for castings? I have a flat wax rectangular plate, that I want to mill designs into for a friend to make castings for jewelery from. Want to know if anyone done this before or not? THANKS

| I've never done it myself - I've just thought about doing it alot recently... Here is what I think - There are very informative videos @ www.freemansupply.com - If you want to do multiple castings you should make the best positive shape of your desire into the wax and then use a silicone rubber to make a mold you can use a near infinite number of times to make more wax shapes for a lost-wax casting process.(thats a run-on sentance if I ever saw one....) |
