I just wanted to know how much of a performance difference there was between a high-end Desktop computer with like a Core-i7 930 processor, a GTX 260, 6 gigs of 1600 DDR ram, 120GB SSD and a low end workstation computer with a dual core Xeon Processor and NVidia Quadro FX Graphics, 4 gigs of Ram-DDR 1200, and 7200RPM HDD.

I am experienced with the program but have no idea what the hardware requirements/recommendations are in this matter

I couldn't find anything related to what ArtCAM recommends or requires for this kind of work and have to purchase a computer with $2000 of company allocated money.
