First post, to this forum.
I work for an electrical contractor, in a service tech role, and I have a customer with an AB 9/Series controller that is 'stuck' in I/O Ring Timeout. We have worked repeatedly on the fiber optic cables on this machine (The fiber optics are the I/O ring), and all devices receive and repeat the signal. But we can't get out of the I/O ring timeout fault. I'm starting to wonder if the end of the loop - back to the 'motherboard' - is not working. But we can't find a way to verify anything.
Any ideas? Suggestions?
Any hot key access into the controller?
Any software/laptop accesss possibilities?
