    Question Urgent-Frame(bed) Design

    Hi Everyone.
I have to design the frame(structure & bed) of a cnc milling machine. I have no idea where to start from. So I would like to know what are the different structures for the machine, their photos and videos would be great for me to start!! Also your expert advice are required.
    Thanks in advance.

I have been assigned to design the frame. I don't have a clear picture about designing a machine. So can you please suggest the most general structure or frame used for milling machines.

What type of milling machine are you designing? Bed type vertical, bed type horizontal, knee type vertical, knee type vertical turret mill (Bridgeport), horizontal knee type or possibly a universal tool room type (Hermle, Deckel etc.)?
