Any benefits running 220 instead of 110 to my power supply?

I have an unregulated 72v 12A powersupply running my servos. Any benefits to 220 instead of 110? Is 220 cheaper, or more efficient?

    Thanks!

Providing supply conductors are sized correctly, you would not see any difference.
Generally the higher voltage allows smaller conductors resulting in cheaper installation cost.
In your case the primary current is small anyway at either voltage.

    I agree with Al.
Your power supply at full output uses 864 watts.
At 120 volts that is only 7.2 amps. At 240 halve the current draw from the mains.
But no matter which way you go your power meter will still show 864.
