Hello - I just bought my stepper/Driver/Power Package specically: CNC 4 Axis Package with 425 oz-in motor and KL-4030 Bipolar Driver with 36V/9.6A Power Supply Can I connect a RJ45 cable from the stepper to the driver? Would be nice since there are so much accessories for RJ45 Thanks Eugene |

http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm but, if we connect parallel 2 wires -->> max current rise up to 7A we need 4 wires for 2 phase bipolar stepper... but ethernet rj45 cable have 8 wires it is good idea to use twisted pair as waveguide for powering phase of stepper (2 phase)

| maybe ethernet cable is good to connect motors because of current.. but, I like use higher diameter shielded cables... 0.5mm x4 - 4A motors 1mm (1.5mm) x4 - 8A motors and... strong plug is important too this is photo of control unit (3 x 7,8A 80V etc) ![]() black plugs - 10A current possible... shielded cables 4x1mm silver socket - easy up to 4A (6A) ![]() smaller unit ![]() cables for 4.2A motors (silver plugs)
