I am tearing what hair I have left.I am responsible for maintenance of a "Paul CNC pop up saw",and the simodrive single axis feed drive,is negative function.I have the basic install/troubleshoot,manual,and all notes point to bad GO board.I purchased a used one from a fellow on "The Bay",and symptoms are same.No movement, and none of the leds light.I sent it back, and received another.Same symptoms.DC in to board is 250VDC,=/-15V,AOK,but none of the =/-24VDC,test points are more than 19-19.5.The screen on control position says drive failure. The orig board illuminates failure lamp on front of machine, but I have been told this is due to diodeV-13,being there,or not. Both replacements, did not illuminate this lamp, but a red hearing,at best. The manual says no move,no leds, lit,GO board is bad.Am I chasing my tail? Were both replacement boards, also bad in same way?I built a battery box/enable jumper/switch set, with 9 volt batt and pot,for configure/test function.I have no actual schematic for this board, but a reasonable understanding of electronics technical work.Does anyone have a sugestion? My job is at stake. So far no one has *****ed,but the replacement board is $3200,approx,so when I saw the used $550,board,thought I would give it a try.Nothing smokes, nor do any fuses blow, and I will admit, according to the TS tree, the "GO",board, looks like the culprit. On the orig bd I replaced all the alum electrolytics,as the failure occured on coldest day of the year to that point. The 24 volt reading went from 19 to 19.5,but non of the boards come up to the nominal 24 volts. If anyone has witnessed this problem,HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for any consideration,in advance. My direct mail is:
