I plan to buy 1-phase to 3-phase VFD for spindle speed control for upcoming 3-phase motor. Before that I would like to know is it possible to get 60 Hz single phase out from that VFD. I'm living in 50 Hz world but I have one single phase motor which requires 60 Hz to run correctly. Any specific wiring for this? |

| You should be able to run the motor on 50hz if you can live with the reduction in rpm. Al.

Actually I can run the motor with 50Hz but it gets very hot. I read about this before in this forum. It is because of something I didn't exactly understand, related to magnetism. |
