Wire EDM motor trouble

Hi, It's my first time on the forum and I have a question. I'm having difficulty troubleshooting the stepper motors on an older model (SCX-2) Easco Sparcatron Wire EDM machine. I have the electrical prints and have checked for loose/bad connections and proper voltages but I'm not sure if there's any signal going to the motors (X and Y axis). Does anybody have experience with this model machine or any suggestions? Thanks!
