| You may want to consult the Electrical code ratings, Canada is pretty much the same as US, The NFPA figures published in the 'Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery' control wiring show 16awg capacity as 10amps in a 'Raceway or Enclosure' in ambient temperature of 30 deg C. Al
