I recall hearing in numerous places that your PC has to be "this fast" for CAM software to be effective, due to the frequency that it has to output signals. I recently found a very small platform that I'd like using for a side project after my CNC is complete (if I ever manage to get it started ), but I'm not sure if it will be powerful enough. So I'm just wondering, what specs are needed for the computer to be effective? If it matters, it will be a smaller router, about 18" x 14" x 4", +/- an inch or 2. Thanks! - Jesse |
