Hi Guy's, First time poster here, Just need to know straight out what specs i will need to run these motors on these drives. DRIVE: Gecko G203v MOTOR: Pacific Scientific "POWERPAC K34HREL-LNK-NS-00" Specs: 2790 Oz/in Looking at the datasheet on thee motors here http://www.electromate.com/db_suppor...34Powerpac.pdf I see that these steppers are K Series -SIGMAX® with 4 rotor stacks and the closest match to my motors are the K34HXEL-LXK-XX-XX (X being a variable for particular configurations). If my assumption is correct, can someone please tell me the right size power supply to use on my 4' X 6' gantry mill? I have wasted 2 A4 sheets of paper, and too much cofee trying to do the calculations. please excuse me if i'm mowing the same grass as others, but since they are rediculously high torque 2790 Oz/in, i thought i'd get some advise before i went ahead and spent more money. My net calculations were 45v @ 750w and all should run fine... but my brains shut down and i need help. Thanks in advance Anthony |

| Check motor's datasheet. Irated*Irated*Rphase=Pphase. Total P=#_of_Phase * Pphase Now you have P per Motor. Add 30-50% more and * by #_of_Motors. This is gonna be P of Power Supply. Take Phase Inductance (mH), 32 * (√mH inductance) = Power Supply Voltage Read G203V manual for power culculation. |
