Hi all as per title realy im using a realy cheap router at the mo as me spindle or at least i will be when i get back into me workshop again (bad back). but as i cant im trying to get things done that i can from indoors. so i was looking at this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Water-Cooled-C...item3a4dbaa09e i know i will need to get a vfd is it but i want some thing i can have loads of different collets for say from 0.040" for pcb making up to say 1" for milling ally,wood etc. i live in the uk in oxford (no im not from uni hence my crap grammer and spelling ) so would be good if there is some one local and money is a problem to but will save up as needed.cheers all. |

| If you find the same thing from someone local to you, it's likely you'll pay double. Virtually everyone using those spindles is buying them direct from China through Ebay.

| thank you very much well ive spotted the one i want http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WATER-COOLE-MO...item35a45a76a9 can i run this spindle from mach 3 i mean can mach 3 stop/start change the speed of it on the fly as req?. looks good comes with the vfd to as that was allso worrying me as i have not got any idea what vfd i should have got hehe. well im off to save up now and when i get it i will be back to ask for help wiring it up im sure thanks again. |

| Get the china spindle, but DONT get that matching China drive ! I fixed a china router for a guy with one of those and it was junk.
