I am retrofitting my knee mill with an Ajax controller. Ajax has a nice cap and bridge unit that is 12,000mf that they claim I can wire up to my transformer. But my calculations (using the ol' C=(80,000*I)/V formula)) my 85v power supply needs a 19000mf capacitor. So my question is if I use the Ajax Cap like they want me to how will this effect my system? Thanks in advance. |

| 12000 should be ok, but depends on how much current your pulling. or You can just add an other in parallel.
