Question 3 ˝ floppy drive to USB flash drive readers

I have a CNC machine that has a floppy drive and would like to upgrade to a USB port. Has anyone used or done this? I'm not a stronge electrical person but do some minor repairs. Board, cable, drive tuning, ect. One site i found has this 3 ½ floppy drive to USB flash drive reader conversion. http://www.floppytousb.com/ Has any one used it? For 275 bucks it seems like it might be worth a try. Anyway, looking for feed back on it or other suggestions or products.
The machine I want to change the floppy out of is a 3 axis MIllPwr control from Acurite. Also, I'm looking for feed back on Calmotion products. I think that is the way to go for me on my 1996 FADAL, but still trying to decide if it's also the best system for the 1997 O T Fanuc control on my lathe?
    Thanks - Steve

Yep... It's the same product. Thanks Al for the link to that Forum. I can assume what they said... "The device emulates a floppy. You machines will still see this device as a 3 1/2 drive due to hardware/software on your machine"...And what you said..."Therefore, its still limited to a max of 1.44 Megs Storage because thats all your machine can see" still applies? Are you saying that 1.44mg is the max you will allowed to read or store?I guess I should give them a call. I just want to get away from floppys on the Millpwr control and any any hard wire hookups in the shop. Just a tad high in price... but still considering.
I still would like to hear feedback from any Calmotion users who have that setup hooked up to Funuc controls.

Cost to upgrade to flash card is $885.00 and you have to send your control in.
    Hummm...a bit much.

I think I'll stick with trying the floppy imulator $275.00 with a money back...
