I am a total newby here. I am simply in the planning stage. Could I have any of your ideas as to what computer capacity is desireable. My initial plan is to produce guitar bodies using the MACH3 & EasyCAM software. Hopefully that is enough info to get an answer. |

| It partially depends on how many steps per unit your machine will need and at what speed rapids you desire. One one of my small machines, I use an Athlon XP 1500 with 9600 steps per inch with 60 ipm rapids and a 25K kernel and it does just fine.

| The faster the better. As long as you meet the minimum specs of 1Ghz. I'm running a Dell GX150, 1.1Ghz PIII. $20 on Ebay
