I'm surfing around looking for a 120VDC power supply circuit for a 120VDC motor when I found this web site. Any comments on it would be welcome. http://www.science-projects.com/PowerSupply.htm Thanks Brent |

| The basic design of this unit makes it fairly useless as a motor controller or any usage that requires any kind of current, this unit was built for some kind of very low current electrolysis purpose. For motor control, the very least you will need is a full wave bridge made up of two rectifiers and two SCR's. You then need a small R/C circuit to control the gates of the two SCR's. There should be many basic circuits of this nature out there on the web. You really need a little more sophistication though, if you look on the KB site for instance, some of the manuals have a circuit, just to give you an idea of what the commercial ones have. Al.
