| Hi All, I'm new to the board and am very glad I found it! Great info and ideas. I have some servo motors made by Hitachi with 200PPR encoders they are rated for 23 volts and a 13W output. Question is what do I have? what is the torq of these motors? what driver or amplifier do I use with these motors. I have the urge to convert my Mill Dill to CNC or build a CNC router are these motors capable of doing either or both of these? Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks, Elalto elalto@cox.net |

Thanks for your response, Yes the motor's label indicates "output 13 W" which appears to be 13 watts. There is no indication of the amperage on the lable. The motor is made by Hitachi but has a Kodak part number, any clues? elalto elalto@cox.net |

| How large is it phisically? 13 watts is .017 Hp, keeping in mind that .01 is one onehundredth. It probably draws around .5 amps or so. I won't have much torque. Is there a part number? Eric
