    25 pin connector

I'm looking for a 25 pin connector as seen in this image.

    http://www.taomc.com/bits2bots/25pin_cu.JPG

All that I come up with in a search is standard printer connectors. I can't find one like this though. Is this something that I have to make using a printer connector and ide cable?

That looks like a standard AMP IDC to D socket connector , e.g. amp 747306-2 the other is a standard ribbon idc header 26pin

Go to http://www.mouser.com look for DB25 to Dual In line cables (26 pin or dual 13 position). Yes, you can also make it yourself...DB25 IDC, 0.050 spacing flat cable, and an 26 position IDC connector.

Except that refers to a wired 25pin D as compared to the ribbon version in the first post.
