    Sourcing Amphenol connector

I need to replace a broken amphenol connector on one of my servo encoders. I don't know exactly which connector it is and am having trouble finding a part number or supplier. The only markings I could find are "amphenol DDK" on one side of the elbow, size 20 on the other. It is a 17 pin female connector and marked 20-29SF on the face of the connector. Inside the elbow it has 97J98-20T and the broken side looks to have the same number except the last letter appears to be G, although it is broken and I can't be certain. Here are some pictures:

You need an MS 3108B20-29S The back shell is a size 20, I you look in the Amphenol, AMP or Cannon MS (Military Style) connectors you should come up with the part numbers, they usually supply them in separate pieces.
Cannon usually have a cheaper line that is MS equivalent.
Newark should stock them, In Canada I get mine from ElectroSonic, I am not sure if DigiKey supply them.

Allied electronics has the best variety I have ever seen. They carry the 97 series stuff mostly, which is compatible with the MS. I think 97 series is industrial and MS is military. Anyway, I think 97-3108B-20-29S is the whole shebang.

You might only need this, which doesn't include the actual contacts, just the body.
