Misc Electronic Design Files | | Do many people still use Qbasic for quick math programs that can be recalled when you need them?. I still use it and in light of some reccuring questions I have posted some that I wrote that I have found usefull
The three programs that under Qbasic are to Find the values for the LM317 regulator, for other information consult the Linear applications sheet. R1 is typically 240 ohms.
2/The Encoder file is to find the multiplier error on a CNC axis by first moving a machine distance and measuring actual move, the program will calculate the correct multiplier.
3/The Power supply program will allow the entry of the desired DC voltage and DC current and desired ripple by % (typical = 2.5% ripple).
The result will give the VA at max current and at 50% duty cycle.
The required AC secondary voltage and the Capacitor required for the entered ripple at max load.
I have tried uploading to the Download section but cannot find out how.
