In an attempt to free up as many parallel port pins as possible, I'm thinking of trying to take apart some USB device (gamepad, keyboard, etc.), run the switch wires to my limit and home switches, and use keygrabber (or whatever) to map the buttons to mach3. Before I go thru all of that I wanted to see if anybody has tried or is doing that right now. Any problems or things to look out for?????? Thanks, Greg |

| like this thing? http://www.cnc4pc.com/Store/osc/prod...roducts_id=214 not sure if there are any scan rate issues with using it for limit switches, but could be useful for other buttons |
