Some vendors sell a kit which combines into the driver board the stepped motor drivers and breakout board. Others sell a kit which with individual parts for the stepped motors drivers and the breakout board. Try to find the advantage / disadvantage between them two |

| That depends... If you will ever want to change the drivers (for larger motors for instance) then seperates are the way to go. Also if you want to increase the number of axies, say from 3 axis to 5 axis, It may be easier with seperates. For simplicity, a single combined board that will suit you needs makes for compactness, ease of wiring, and no need to worry about compatibility of seperates. Steve |
