Looks very clean and you have plenty of room for wiring, the only problem I see, is that i don't see the geckos mounted on a heat sink.

    Re: Heat sinks

Hey Paul, Thanks for the reply. I bought the Geckos from Ind. Hobbies, and they came with a plenum tyype heat sink. If you look close, two Geckos and a fan are mounted on each heat sink. Thanks, John

Aw now I see it, but the fan is underneath the heat sink, so I guess you have to stand it off the floor? So your on your way.....

Where are the rectifiers? Are they the black items next to the gecko's or is that the fans? Rectifiers can generate some heat too.

Nice bit of kit, if you don't like the layout then you should pack it up and ship it to me!...

    RE: Rectifiers

You guys are observant!. Actually, the rectifiers are not there, I'm having trouble finding them locally, so I may have to order them. Here's a side view which shows thye plenum style heat sinks.

Is there an air path under the fans that they can directly blow air through?

At first glance the look like they are mounted up against the flat plane of the heat sink.

Or, are you going to mount them so they blow down the length of the heat sink, through the fins?

Yes, the fans are mounted over a hole the size of the fans and they blow air down through the fins and out each end.

I think it all looks great...

Did you buy or build the enclosure? If you bought it can I ask where?
