Hey, Typing from Australia here. What is the go with CE and the Australian equivalent CTick. I think it is the equivalent. So say I buy or make any kind of electrical component like say a power supply. What doe the CE and CTick actually mean? Is it just about noise interference?

| Much the same with CE,they have various standards and if your product complies with a particular European directive then you can stick a CE on it. Stands for Complience European or something. For example, they will check electrical stuff not only from a safety basis, but to see if it puts any unwanted noise down the mains line that it's connected to etc.
