Hello, I’ve bought a super X3 from Sieg and I wish to convert it to CNC. I’v no concern with x,y,z conversion but I’m little confused with spindle motor…. My SX3 has no motor control board, only the power supply. The motor is a brushless DC motor 3 phases. What do I need to control the spindle speed? I heard about a VFD or VDF. Have you got a specific model to recommend? Is there an encoder on the motor (position feedback)? What about the wiring …. Has one of you made the same conversion ? Thanks in advance Benoit |
