Parallel port control software

Hello

I've built my own PIC based Stepper driver and I want to test it from the target computers parallel port card which is a PCI card, I have yet to find any PP Control/monitor software out there that will work with a PCI PP card.

Does anyone know of one that exists. I really don't want to have to program one if one exists.

Ron

Sorry I guess I should have explained more.

I will be using Mach3 when it is done but for the time being I want to turn on and off bits in the PP's data byte manually, all software that I've seen do this wants an address that is a standard PP address (0x378), I'm using a PCI card that gives me an address of 0xC000, this is not normally usable with the software I've seen.

Thanks

Ron

That's different. Your correct, a lot of software that does parallel port IO in Windows uses inpout32.dll which I don't believe supports more than the old 16 bit IO space.
