Hi, I would like to build Adjustable DC Power Supply 0 - 100V DC / 1A to control my Magnetic Chuck on Surface Grinder. Anyone can help to make my dream come true? Regards, Andre |

| Should be very simple with 2 rectifiers and two SCR's, a POT and a few other components. Google for full wave SCR control. Al.

| This should work at not much cost, an off switch could control the relay, contacts only are shown. Al.

| The bridge can be any off the shelf item rated for 200~250v at the current you want to supply, the price difference is very little for higher rated versions. The toroid can be any ferrite ring type found in PC power supplies etc, just wind one layer of around 18g on half in one direction, half in the other. The Triac and Diac are older part numbers but they should cross over to current numbers, and they are not that critical for this application. Al.
