Howdy, just want to know how long my cable can be. I'm converting a Bridgeport to CNC Keling 1200 oz/in. Steppers, 72VDC 20A Power Supply, 8078 Keling Drives. Can the motor cables going from the motor to the drivers be 32 feet? Thanks. Oh and what gauge wire. I was told by someone else on here 22 gauge would be fine, but to me 72VDC with each motor drawing a maximum of 6 amps that 22ga would be too small, just want to verify. |

| If you are going 32' I'd go with 16ga. You probably could go smaller but at higher currents your voltage drop across the wire may become a problem.
